Hello, I’m Amy, and I write Paranormal Erotic Romance and more…

I started out by writing Forever Knight fanfic (fan fiction), but that turned into something more. I needed to bring my stories out of the FK world and create one of my own. When I first created my world, I called the series Midnight Hotel. However, since some of the stories weren’t set in or even near the hotel, I changed the series name to Night Life Chronicles, and that seems to be working better. I can set my stories anywhere I need to. For example, I have one story set in the Blue Ridge Mountains during the Vietnam War, and another is set in France during World War II. I do have most of them set in the modern day United States.

I live in Texas and have two dogs for children. I am 54 years old, and I’m disabled.  I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) every November since 2006. This coming November (which is only a couple of days away at the time I’m writing this) will be my seventh year. Out of the six I’ve been a part of, I’ve won four times. The NaNoWriMo challenge is to write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days. People from all over the world participate in NaNo every year. It is free, and The Office of Letters and Light (the company that runs it) are a non-profit organization. If you ever thought to yourself that you could write a story, then please, join the millions of writers around the globe who join in the madness that is NaNoWriMo, you’ll be glad you did.
